RUNTO indicated that surveillance cameras were the sole category in China’s smart home devices market to experience year-on-year growth in sales volume during November. The increased demand for surveillance camera products is attributed to heightened consumer awareness of home security, competitive unit prices, and promotional events on China’s Singles’ Day (Nov. 11), according to the report.
